Mercedez Benz Indonesia | #StarChase Photo Competition

So, I just went to Vin+ earlier and met a bunch of cool people from the agency and Mercedes Benz Indonesia. Apparently, Mercedes Benz is holding a fun competition called #StarChase Photo Competition. It is ongoing now and TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY to join (November 22-27th, 2014)!!

There will be a total of ten (10) winners for this competition. One winner will be treated to a luxurious shopping experience from #MercedesBenz. If you are one stylish woman you will get Louis Vuitton and if you are man, you will win Hugo Boss. There are also luscious gadgets for nine other winners!

How To Join

Here comes the fun part. Mercedes Benz team is going 'round town (in this case, Jakarta) to park their gorgeous rides. All you have to do is to spot one and take a stylish photo of you together with the luxurious car.

Step by step:

1. Visit http://bit.ly/starchase to get the exact venue location & car

2. Go to designated venue around Jakarta on 22 November - 27 November 2014

3. Take a stylish photo of you with the Mercedes-Benz car at the venue

4. Upload the photo with #StarChase hashtag and tag @MercedesBenzID on Instagram

5. Ten (10) of the best photos will win these prizes:

    • One (1) luxurious shopping experience from #MercedesBenz (Louis Vuitton if you're a woman and Hugo Boss if you're a man)

    • One (1) Samsung Galaxy Tab S

    • Two (2) Samsung Galaxy K Zoom and

I told Hans that I feel like Syahrini (a famous Indonesian celebrity), posing with a posh car like this HAHAHA.

 I drive both manual and automatic cars since I was 14 years old, so driving an automatic car like this is a treat for me (ya feel me, manual car drivers??).

 Loving the classy interior of this car as well.

As you can see, Vin+ was the designated venue when I went for this #StarChase Competition. The last time I went there was on 2011… I guess? With Elle. It was one of our girls' night outs, just the two of us haha. Most of the time, we stay home watching movies, so rare opportunities like this, we ought to preserve lol.

The JOKER Makeup Tutorial (EASY!)

 So, my first ever makeup tutorial happens to be my first time celebrating Halloween, heheh..

Well, actually not "celebrating" per se because I didn't go to any Halloween party, but for me, who has never done something Halloween-ny (I just don't like to participate in most things), doing this kind of makeup is kinda is! :"D

 Ok, here's my costume!!! Hahahha so lame I know, but I just couldn't find a green vest and purple suit in such short time! #poorplanning

So instead, I went for this much easier and more convenient outfit. I thought I could just put on my white lab coat from my school days:

But turns out my lab coat went missing! Been forever in my closet but the second I needed it, it's gone. Classic. So I ended up borrowing my cousin's who goes to the same school as me! Thank you, Yin/Thien! ❤ 

My full costume! ps. I wore white shorts underneath.

I decided to cover up the school logo with my 'Dent' name tag which I bought from Gramedia Book Store for about IDR 10,000 only! ✌

In case you didn't know, this Halloween getup is actually a collaboration with Stella Lee! And just like our first collab (Christmas collab in 2013), this was also an impromptu session ^^

 Too bad Jess got work to do, so she couldn't join us this time! boohoo.

Christmas 2013 in Akihabara

Hello, Mr. Hot Dog! Anwyay, yes, Christmas means red + green outfit. ^^v

Scrolled through my last Japan trip photos and decided to make a blog post out of 'em. No thanks to Stella for making me miss Japan so much right now. (˘̩̩ᴗ˘̩̩ƪ) Anyway, there are too many pictures so I'll just blog about this particular event first: December 25 a.k.a. My 2013's Christmas Day in Akihabara! Nothing special, really, we just strolled around the busy street, ate and shopped hehe.

The day started with us taking train to Akihabara and mommy stopped for something sweet:

There's this tiny Sushi Shop right next to the AKB48 Cafe, here precisely (right outside the JR Akihabara Station's Electric Town exit and just next to Beck's Coffee Shop). It seemed perfect to satisfy our growling tummy and apparently, the prices were cheap, too!

Continuing our journey in Akihabara, we went in and out some toy stores around this area.

There are SO MANY cute things there and I wanted to explore more but mom seemed genuinely uninterested (although she did buy something for my brother) lol, so off we went!

Ehhhhhh, it's dark already! T_T I blame the three of us who woke up late. XD

Anyway, look at how beautiful those trees are! The leaves were turning yellow when we were there.

So grateful to be able to watch it with mom!

After shopping and eating around (it was ALWAYS mealtime whenever I'm around these two people, my mom and my bf lol), it was 11 by night so we decided to fill our tummy the last time(?) for that night at this place THE ROSE & CROWN - VICTORIAN PUB - ダイナック, which is located right across the Sushi place that we visited for lunch.

After a while, it was 12 past midnight and it means… HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! X"D

Apparently, they each bought some gifts and chocolates *secretly* when we were shopping around. :')
